Terms & Conditions Of Entertainment Booking Contract With Supersonic Sounds
DEPOSITS / PAYMENT
Please provide payment on date specified.
Cancellation of booking more than 28 working days before the date of function will result in the loss of any deposit.
Cancellation of booking within 28 working days will result in the hirer being responsible for 50% of the total balance.
Cancellation of booking within 14 working days will result in the hirer being responsible for 100% of the total balance.
An administration fee will be charged for cancellation within 7 working days of booking, to cover payments and costs made by Supersonic Sounds to contracted parties or employees of Supersonic Sounds. If applicable (Deposit is also kept)
Balance must be paid in full on the date specified on the entertainments booking form.
The hirer will be charged a £25 penalty for late payment. A late payment charge will be enforced one working day after payment date specified on entertainment booking form.
Block bookings are at discounted rates, therefore entertainment and services provided from Supersonic Sounds are contracted on one Entertainments Booking Form. Any cancellations made for entertainment or services before contract has been fulfilled, will result in the hirer being responsible for 100% of the total balance.
DAMAGE / BREAKAGES
Supersonic sounds reserve the right to leave any event or function if any of the equipment on hire is at risk of being broken or stolen.
Any damage or breakages caused to any equipment on hire to the named person or persons will result in the hirer being responsible for any cost at replacement value, this also includes theft of any equipment.
Supersonic sounds reserves the right to leave any event or function if any guest or person becomes violent or displays any form of hostility towards Supersonic Sound staff.
The client warrants that all reservations / bookings for accommodation / venues are undertaken in the client’s name. Supersonic Sounds does not take responsibility for insufficient amenities or accommodation.
Supersonic Sounds will not take responsibility for damages or theft from a venue when making reservations / bookings on the client’s behalf. All costs incurred from such incidences will be passed directly to the client.
Supersonic sounds will not be held responsible for the misconduct of guests / clients during a pre-booked or reserved venue or accommodation. Should such matters occur.
OUTSIDE EVENTS
Supersonic sounds staff will remove/de-rig any entertainment that is situated outside during bad weather if appropriate cover/shelter has not been provided or hired.
If you have hired entertainment without the presents of Supersonic Sounds Staff, it is the hirer’s responsibility to pack away hire equipment and protect equipment from bad weather.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to provide or hire appropriate cover/shelter for entertainment if bad weather has been forecasted, to avoid disappointment on the date of event.
In the case of an outside event and entertainment has to be cancelled or de-rigged/removed due to bad weather, an administration fee will be charged for cancellation on date of booking due to bad weather, to cover payments and costs made by Supersonic Sounds to contracted parties or employees of Supersonic Sounds, if applicable. (Deposit is also kept) Full payment of entertainment may be required if contract has been fulfilled or Supersonic Sounds has been present on site for duration of hire. (Even if entertainment has not been set up ready for use.)
Supersonic Sounds cannot be held responsible for any electrical fault or any other technical problem that might occur on the date of booking due to bad weather.
There will be no charge for transferring the date of booking. Subject to availability.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Any person or guests are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and those around them.
A responsible adult should supervise children at all times.
Supersonic Sound staff will refuse any individual the right to participate in any form of entertainment or amusement if that member of staff feels that the individual appears to be intoxicated or has any obvious medical condition.
Supersonic Sounds use flashing and bright lighting.
Failure to comply with Supersonic Sounds Risk Assessments and Safety Guidelines may result in the hirer not receiving entertainment.
SUPERSONIC SOUND STAFF
Supersonic Sound Staff will not tolerate any hostility be it verbal or physical towards members of staff. Full legal action will be pursued if such matters occur.
Supersonic Sound staff are not trained to deal with violent or hostile confrontations. Therefore Supersonic Sound staff will not attempt to communicate with any guest / person should such matters occur.
If a member of Supersonic Sound staff feels threatened or has been threatened, Supersonic Sounds reserves the right to remove all entertainment on hire.
Refreshments should be made available to Supersonic Sounds Staff for all events where staff are on site for 3 hours or longer
Any dress codes or requirements for Supersonic Sounds should be made when initial booking is made.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
Supersonic Sounds cannot be held responsible for any incident or act of god causing late Arrival/Departure
The hirer will notify Supersonic Sounds of unpractical access to a venue.
Please note that not all entertainment will fit inside elevator or narrow staircases. The client risks not receiving delivery of entertainment if Supersonic Sounds notified
If your venue insists that all guests and entertainment to be off site at a specific time, the hirer must consider that all entertainment can take up to 1hour to de-rig and load into vehicles.
The parking of Supersonic Sounds Vehicle is fundamental and could result in late arrival of Supersonic Sounds if not notified of unpractical or no parking facilities.
